About this tune

This is a famous Chinese tune. 

The original song is over 300 years old, but it has become more and more popular over time.

There are now many different versions of the tune and lyrics, from different regions and times.

The slurs

Slurs

Start by practising all the slurs. Tongue the first note, then join the second one to it.

Keep breathing out and change notes just by moving your fingers. 

These are all 2 note slurs, so remember to tongue the 3rd note:                        Don't slur them all together!
