- Practice the tricky bits
- Follow the tutorial video. Keep pausing to practice, don't try to do it all at once!
- Can you play it all the way through without the letters?
- When you can play it slowly and neatly, start speeding up!

Have fun with your class trying to play this traditional 6/8 Afro-Cuban rhythm which is called Bembé. It is the basis for most Afro-Cuban songs in 6/8 time. It's been orchestrated with Brazilian Samba percussion as some schools will have these instruments to hand. However, you can put them on any percussion instrument
